Sofía Velasco

Sofía Velasco has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they worked as an On Campus Intern in Estrategia Digital at Tecnológico de Monterrey and also held the position of Vicepresidencia Grupo Estudiantil. In the following year, they joined the International Model United Nations Association (IMUNA) as an Administrative Assistant Director and later became the Director of Disarmament and International Security Committee. Sofía also worked as a Program Facilitator at EGS Global Leadership Program during that time. In 2022, they were a Miembro Representante del Consejo Estudiantil - CEM at FETEC Monterrey. In 2023, Sofía held roles such as the Medical IHD Intern at Novartis, Consejera Electoral del Comité de Participación Estudiantil - CEM at FETEC Monterrey, and On Campus Intern in Comunicación Institucional y Estrategia Digital at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Sofía was also the Director of Conference Operations at the International Model United Nations Association (IMUNA). Additionally, they worked as a Locutora programa en vivo and Productora programa en vivo at Frecuencia CEM. Recently, they served as a Neuroscience Research Intern at RI-MUHC | Research Institute of the MUHC | #rimuhc. Overall, Sofía has gained valuable experience in various fields and has proven their versatility and expertise in different roles.

From 2020 to 2024, Sofía Velasco pursued a degree in Biotechnology Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
