James Mutamba

James Mutamba is the Chief Business Officer at Arrakis Therapeutics, where they focus on addressing significant healthcare challenges. They co-founded multiple companies, including Commense and Calix Biopharma, and served as a board observer for several organizations, such as PULMOCIDE and Colorescience. James holds a PhD in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Additionally, they contribute to academic initiatives as a member of the Advisory Council for the Omenn-Darling Bioengineering Institute at Princeton University.
