Charles Sharp has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Charles began their career as a Quality Control Lab Assistant at Pfizer Inc in 1998, followed by a role as a Computer Lab Assistant at Colorado State University from 1997 to 1999. Charles then joined Pfizer Inc again in 2000 as a Programmer, where they worked on various JDBC classes and built a prototype Beowulf cluster.
In 2003, Charles joined DataSplice as a Developer before transitioning to Logisens Corp in 2005. At Logisens Corp, they served as a Senior Software Developer and led the development and engineering of the OptimalOffice stress management application.
In 2009, Charles moved to the US Forest Service as a Java Developer, where they were heavily involved in the development of the Forest Service Virtual Incident Procurement (VIPR) system. Charles worked on creating and managing solicitations and award agreements, encompassing the entire business process.
From 2011 to 2019, Charles worked for OtterBox, initially as a Software Engineer and later as a Senior Web Developer. Their responsibilities included Light Service-Now Development, SalesForce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) eCommerce development, integrations with internal and third-party web services, and Tibco Development.
Most recently, Charles joined In-Situ as a Senior Web Developer in 2019, where they are currently employed.
Charles Sharp completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Colorado State University from 1997 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended LHS from 1993 to 1997, but no specific degree or field of study information was provided for this period. Additionally, in December 2011, Charles obtained a Yoga Instructor Certification - Level I from the Shambhava School of Yoga.
