Nick Baak has over 14 years of work experience. Nick started their career at BDO Nederland in 2007 as an Assistent Accountant and Consultant Risk Advisory. In 2015, they joined Hi-Tec Sports as a Group Controller and Helloprint as Head of Finance & Control. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at NCOI Groep as a Business Controller and NTI as a Business Controller. During this time, they also worked as an Interim Professional at Baak Interim Services. In 2019, they became a Business Controller a.i. at WPG Media and in 2020, they were Manager Planning, Control & Risk a.i. and Business controller / Consultant a.i. at Hogeschool Utrecht. Currently, they are Chief Operations Officer and Controller a.i. at in3.
Nick Baak began their education in 2001, graduating from Fioretti College in 2007 with a VWO in E&M. Nick then attended Nyenrode Business University, graduating in 2012 with a BSc in Accountancy. Nick continued their studies at Nyenrode Business University, obtaining an MSc in Controlling in 2013. In 2018, Nick Baak completed their EMFC in Controlling at Nyenrode Business University. Most recently, in November 2021, Nick Baak obtained the PSM 1 certification from Scrum.org.
