in5, an integrated innovation platform, launched by TECOM Group, has created within Dubai a distinctive and well-rounded ecosystem for entrepreneurs and start-ups to be incubated and nurtured to their next phase of growth. in5 offers state-of the art and specialized facilities catering to the Technology (Dubai Internet City), Media (Dubai Production City) and Design (Dubai Design District) industries and facilitates training and mentorship programs. This dynamic and creative environment also allows for the development of innovative ideas through community wide networking events, access to investors and industry-leading market research.

The in5 innovation centre for technology was launched in 2013, and has engaged with 4,000 technopreneurs and incubated over 160 companies that have secured over AED 58 million in funding. In January 2017, in5’s innovation centre for the design and fashion talent ecosystem will open its doors, offering students, entrepreneurs and new businesses an opportunity to transform their disruptive ideas into commercial successes. The third in5 innovation centre will launch in Q1 2017, offering media enthusiasts, freelancers and entrepreneurs, an opportunity to work collectively on media-related endeavours and participate in the creation of media initiatives for new-age digital platforms.

The innovation centers are designed to offer 5 key benefits to support the growing number of students, entrepreneurs and start-ups seeking to get new ideas off the ground in Dubai’s competitive markets – Set-up Framework, Mentorship, Training, Networking and Access to Investors. in5 submissions follow a simple 5 stage process – Submission, Shortlisting, Presentation, Incubation and Graduation.
