Kamila Markram

Co-Founder

Kamila Markram is the co-founder and CEO of Frontiers, one of the world's largest research publishers, dedicated to making science openly accessible. They co-founded the Frontiers Research Foundation in 2006 to advance solutions for planetary and human health and launched Frontiers for Young Minds in 2014 to engage younger audiences with science. Kamila has made significant contributions to autism research, including the development of the "Intense World Theory," and holds an award-winning PhD in Neuroscience from EPFL. They continue to advocate for open research and sustainability through initiatives like the Frontiers Planet Prize.
