Osvaldo Makowiecky is an R&D engineer at Inalve since March 2020, specializing in Rotating Algal Biofilm production and the transformation of microalgae biomass into live feed products for the aquaculture industry. Osvaldo has extensive experience in microalgae research and production, having held positions at various institutions including MARBEC, SEADUCER, IFREMER, and the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Notable projects include the study of dinoflagellate cyst diversity, development of analysis protocols for phytoplankton, and involvement in multi-trophic aquaculture systems. Osvaldo holds a Master's degree in exploitation of aquatic bioresources from the University of Montpellier and a degree in Aquaculture Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.
