Scott Bevan is a scientist with extensive experience in molecular cloning and plant transformation for agricultural biotechnology. Currently at Inari since 2019, Scott established a new molecular cloning lab, contributed to the Early Product Development Leadership Team, recruited and managed a team of research associates, and developed advanced gene expression strategies using CRISPR technology. Previously, Scott was with Dow AgroSciences from 1998 to 2018, where roles included Associate Research Scientist, Senior Biologist, Lead Biologist, Biologist, and Associate Biologist, focusing on cloning systems and enhancing gene discovery, ultimately leading multi-disciplinary project teams in the development of transgenic plants. Scott holds a Graduate Certificate in Biotechnology from the Indiana University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Indiana University Bloomington.
