Carl Smith

Carl Smith is a versatile leader with over 15 years of experience in managing complex cross-functional Product, Technology, and Operations projects, primarily within the Financial Services industry. Currently, they serve as Co-founder and Owner of the first LGBTQ+ boutique hotel in Playa del Carmen, overseeing all aspects of the business and project management. Their previous roles include Account Manager at Spotify and a variety of freelance project management positions at prestigious companies such as Barclays, Mastercard, and Align Technology. In addition to their management expertise, Carl is also a certified PADI Dive Master. They graduated top of their class with a BA in Law & Business Studies from the University of Warwick.
