Ali Donaldson

Ali Donaldson is an experienced journalist currently serving as a Staff Reporter at Inc. Magazine since June 2022. Previously, Ali held the position of Journalist and Masters Candidate at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism from September 2021 to May 2022. Prior to that, Ali worked at Bloomberg News from September 2017 to August 2021 as a Line Producer and News Producer, and at CNN as a News Associate from February 2016 to August 2017. Ali's early career included roles such as News Intern on the Economic Indicators Team at Bloomberg, Associate Producer for "The American Forum" at the Miller Center of Public Affairs, and internships with the Virginia Quarterly Review and Central Virginia Partnership for Economic Development. Ali holds a Master of Arts in Business & Economics Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Media Studies from the University of Virginia, with additional studies at the University of Cape Town.
