Jay Moore

Jay Moore has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Jay began their career as a Senior Developer/Architect/Team Leader at PrepaidMeters.co.za, where they gained expertise in software engineering fundamentals and enterprise-level application development. Jay then worked as a Senior Developer at Trevolta.com and a Freelance Developer at Glimpse Software.

In 2014, Jay joined Harris Computer Systems as a Sr. Software Engineer, where they demonstrated their ability to build high-performance, secure, and data-driven applications using PHP, HTML, JavaScript, MySQL, Linux, and object-oriented development. Jay continued to develop their skills and stayed with the company until 2016.

After Harris Computer Systems, Jay worked at Pegasus CRM as a Lead Developer/Manager, further honing their leadership and development skills. In 2017, they joined Incentco LLC as a Lead Full Stack Engineer, responsible for creating and maintaining full-stack applications. Jay later assumed the role of Head of Technology and eventually became the Vice President of Technology Strategies, showcasing their increasing responsibilities and management abilities.

In 2020, Jay joined Reynolds American Inc. as the Lead Manager IT - eCommerce IT Demand, where they played a crucial role in managing IT projects related to e-commerce.

Jay Moore obtained their Associate's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Valencia College, which they attended from 2001 to 2003. Jay then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physiology, General at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 2007 to 2009. In May 2021, they obtained the certification of Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc.
