John Schaefer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. John started their career as an Industrial Engineer at Garrett AiResearch (now part of Honeywell) in 1980, and later worked as an Industrial Engineer at Karsten Manufacturing in 1984. In 1989, they became the Western Regional Sales Director at TharpeRobbins Company, where they stayed until 2014. In the same year, they founded their own company, Schaefer Recognition Group, where they served as Founder and President. Currently, they work as a Regional Director at Incentive Services Inc., where they focus on recognition, employee engagement, and performance management. Throughout their career, John has been dedicated to improving the effectiveness of recognition and incentive programs, and has developed an education-based approach to achieve this.
John Schaefer attended Arizona State University from 1976 to 1980, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
