Chris Evans is the Co-Founder and CPO at Incident.io. Chris was previously the Technical Director - Platform and Reliability at Monzo Bank from March 2018 to August 2021. Prior to that, they were the Technical Product Owner - Platform Operations at MOO from February 2017 to March 2018. Chris also served as the Platform Technology Programme Lead at Marks and Spencer from September 2015 to February 2017.
Chris has extensive experience in platform and reliability engineering, as well as product ownership. Chris has led initiatives to improve quality, repeatability and stability in pre-production environments, as well as CI/CD pipelines for development teams. Chris also has experience in migrating software stacks from on-premise to cloud environments such as AWS. Chris is an advocate for making use of DevOps tools such as Terraform, Packer, Ansible and Docker to improve overall operability.
Chris Evans began their educational career by studying mathematics at the University of Bristol. Chris then went on to study computer science at the same school, completing their education with a master's degree.
