Theo Wiggers

Theo Wiggers has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Theo co-founded Incision in 2014 and served as the Medical Director. Prior to that, starting in 2011, they provided coaching, advising, and interim management services through their own company. Theo also held positions as a Member of the Supervisory Board at ZGT from 2013 to 2021 and at BovenIJ ziekenhuis from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, they served as the Chairman of the Dutch Surgical Colorectal Audit from 2011 to 2017. Theo worked as an Auditor at NIAZ from 2000 to 2017 and served as the Chairman of the Board of EZDA from 2012 to 2015. Lastly, they held the position of Professor in Surgical Oncology at the University Medical Center Groningen from 2000 to 2011.

Theo Wiggers obtained their Gymnasium β degree from Christelijk Lyceum Buitenveldert in the years 1960 to 1966. Following this, they pursued Medicine at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) and completed their MD degree from 1966 to 1974. Lastly, they attended Maastricht University in 1987 for their PhD in Medicine.
