Tom Reed has held various management positions throughout their career. Tom has extensive experience in operational excellence, lean transformations, and consulting. Tom has worked for companies such as Incito Consulting Group, Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope, 3D Systems Corporation, American Lean, Gibson Athletic, and Velocity Consulting Corp. Their roles have included Vice President of Client Services, Director of Operational Excellence, Director of Operational Excellence, President, Vice President and Managing Director, Vice President of Operations, and President. Tom has successfully led organizational transformation projects, implemented lean methodologies, and delivered significant cost savings. Tom is also the author of a Lean Game Plan book and is actively involved in blogging and podcasting. Tom has a strong background in operations management and has worked with companies in various industries.
Tom Reed received their Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE) from the University of Cincinnati in 1989. Tom later went on to earn an MBA in Business from Xavier University - Williams College of Business in 1999. Tom also holds various certifications, which include Professional Scrum Master 1 and Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org, as well as Six Sigma Black Belt and Six Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University.
