Tara Johnson

Board Member at Inclusa

Tara Johnson was elected to the La Crosse County Board of Supervisors in 2000 and, since July 2011, was elected by her peers as its Chair. She was a founding Board member of the La Crosse County CMO which became Western Wisconsin Cares, one of the three legacy organizations which joined forces to become Inclusa. Tara received her bachelor’s degree from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She worked as a United Way professional in Milwaukee, Green Bay and La Crosse, where she ended her 15-year career as the Executive Director. Tara also serves on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Counties Association and Emerge Wisconsin. Along with her husband, Tim Padesky, she resides in the Town of Shelby where they raised their two college-aged children. Tim and Tara were guardians for an uncle who received Family Care services for many years, an experience that lends additional insight into her role on the Inclusa Board.
