Tyrone Compton

Tyrone Compton has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Starting in 2021, they worked as an Associate Cloud Systems Developer at Cloudreach. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2021, they were a Web Developer for an unspecified company. In 2015, they attended General Assembly as a Web Development Immersive Student. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at Discovery Networks International as a Global Systems Administration/Executive Support role. In the same year, they were also a Computer Support Officer at Waverley Council. From 2004 to 2007, they worked at Retail IT as a Senior IT Technician, handling various responsibilities such as project management, helpdesk support, and hardware configuration. Tyrone began their career in 2001 as a PC Support Technician at Sopra Steria @Goldman Sachs, where they worked until 2004.

Tyrone Compton's education history includes completing a Web Development Immersive program at General Assembly in 2015, where they gained knowledge in front and back-end web development tools. Prior to that, from 1995 to 2000, they attended the University of Brighton, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computing & Geography.

In addition to their formal education, Tyrone Compton has obtained several certifications in Amazon Web Services (AWS). In November 2022, they became an AWS Certified Developer – Associate. Tyrone also obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification in April 2022 and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification in February 2022.
