Clay M. has extensive experience in the fields of renewable energy, environmental policy, and law. Currently serving as an Instructor for Inclusiv since 2018, Clay focuses on commercial solar lending for CDFI institutions. Additionally, an Urban Planner for the City of Asheville since November 2022, Clay has previously held the position of Adjunct Professor at Vermont Law and Graduate School, teaching energy policy and utility regulation. As a Partner at Revolution Energy LLC since 2008, Clay contributes to renewable and clean energy development and financing. Previous experience includes a role as a Lecturer at the University of New Hampshire, teaching Sustainable Energy and Environmental Policy. Clay's academic credentials include a Professional Certificate of Law in Blockchain, Cryptocurrency and Law from UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law, a PhD in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies from the University of New Hampshire, a Master's degree in Environmental Law, and a JD from Vermont Law School.
