Ken Martin

Senior Process Engineer at Incom, Inc.

Ken Martin has over 20 years of work experience in the engineering field. Ken began their career in 1990 as a Process Engineer at MKE-Quantum, Digital Equipment Corp. where they were responsible for the start up of a new micro-electronic production line and the development, transfer and sustaining of vacuum and photolithographic processes. In 1999, Ken moved to Advanced MicroSensors as a Lead Engineer and Project Manager, where they were responsible for the engineering and introduction of products and processes into prototype and production phases. Ken also served as the lead engineer responsible for starting up and developing tools, recipes, materials and processes to manufacture Thin Film Recording Heads. From 2015 to 2018, Ken worked at PerkinElmer, Inc. as a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer, where they were responsible for the design and introduction into manufacturing of new or improved processes, equipment and materials to fabricate optical filters. This included process design, material and tool selection, testing and verification, implementation of testing and control methods, writing all related documentation, continuous improvement and subsequent process sustaining. Since 2018, Ken has been employed at Incom, Inc. as a Senior Process Engineer.

Ken Martin received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies from Central New England College and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Laser and Optical Technology/Technician from Springfield Technical Community College.
