Derick Matthee

Derick Matthee, PrEng, is a seasoned Flight Test Professional with extensive experience in aeronautical engineering and flight testing. They have served as a Flight Test Engineer and Class 2 Test Pilot at Denel SOC LTD from 2012 to 2022, working on significant projects involving Cheetah Fighters and Gripen Fighters. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Flight Test Engineer at INCOMAR and have previously undertaken roles with various organizations, including as an Independent Flight Test Professional in 2022. Derick earned a B Eng from the University of Pretoria and advanced degrees from the National Test Pilot School, specializing in Flight Test Engineering.
