Lance Wellington

Lance Wellington currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Head of Flight Test at INCOMAR since January 2023. Previously, Wellington held roles at INCOMAR from March 2011 to December 2016, including Head of Flight Operations at the Gripen Flight Test Centre and part-time Senior Test Pilot for the AHRLAC prototype aircraft. An extensive career with the South African Air Force spanned from May 1995 to December 2016, during which Wellington served as an Experimental Test Pilot, Gripen Display Pilot, and Officer Commanding of the 85 Combat Flying School, overseeing fighter pilot training. Additional roles included training and flight command responsibilities across various aircraft. Wellington's education credentials encompass a Master of Science in Flight Test & Evaluation from the National Test Pilot School, a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics, and an Associate of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
