Thinus Viljoen

Thinus Viljoen is a Radar System Engineer at INCOMAR AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE SYSTEMS since 2020, previously serving in the same role at Denel Dynamics from 2001 to 2020. Thinus earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering, cum laude, from the University of Pretoria in 2000, and later achieved a Master of Engineering, also cum laude, in 2002. Thinus's career in radar began in 2004 with system design work for a Hardware-In-the-Loop Simulator for the Raster Radar seeker, later contributing to the evolution of the Marlin missile seeker through various technical responsibilities. Additionally, Thinus has been involved in other radar projects, including the Cheetah missile seeker, and is passionate about mentoring young engineers in the field.
