Ben Bryant

Vice President & Senior Division Counsel, Financial Services & Marketing at InComm

Ben Bryant has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Ben began their career as a Finance Intern at the National Republican Congressional Committee in 2002 and later served as an Operations Intern at Bush-Cheney '04 in 2003.

In 2003, they joined the National Republican Congressional Committee again, this time as an eFundraising Coordinator and Marketing Coordinator, where they managed internet fundraising efforts, donor relations, and email fundraising. Ben successfully raised $1.5 million through online endeavors for the NRCC.

In 2007, Ben worked as a Summer Clerk at the law firm Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel and later served as a Legal Intern at the Office of the Executive Counsel to Governor Sonny Perdue.

From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Summer Associate at Alston & Bird LLP before joining the firm as an Associate in the Financial Services & Products practice group. As a member of the firm's payment systems team, they focused on transactions and regulatory issues related to the electronic payments industry. Ben also served as a Fellowship Associate at Sustainable Atlanta, where they participated in sustainable policy initiatives and provided legal advice on various topics.

In 2013, Ben started working at InComm Payments as an Assistant General Counsel, eventually progressing to higher roles such as Division Counsel, Senior Division Counsel, and currently Vice President & Senior Division Counsel in the Financial Services & Marketing department. Ben has been responsible for providing legal counsel and expertise in financial services and marketing matters.

Additionally, Ben has held the position of State Board Member at the Technical College System of Georgia since 2013, overseeing technical colleges and workforce development programs in the state. Ben is also a Member of the Government Relations Working Group at the Innovative Payments Association.

Ben Bryant has a strong educational background. Ben obtained their Juris Doctor (JD), magna cum laude, with a Certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research, and Drafting from Mercer University - Walter F. George School of Law from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (MA) in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University from 2003 to 2005. Ben completed their undergraduate studies at Washington and Lee University, where they graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Politics and Economics from 1999 to 2003. Before their higher education, Ben attended Chamblee High School from 1994 to 1999, Kittredge Magnet School from 1991 to 1994, and Henderson Mill Elementary School from 1987 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including BSA Certified Angling Instructor and Wood Badge from the Boy Scouts of America.
