Tom Shrum

Tom Shrum is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product ownership and intellectual property law. Currently serving as Product Owner at InComm Payments since April 2022, Shrum manages software product requirements and stakeholder relationships, leading roadmap and requirements analysis while developing product UI/UX wireframes. Prior roles include Product Owner at Aon, where Shrum guided product development from ideation through deployment, and multiple positions as a Patent Attorney at firms such as Randall & Danskin, P.S., Redhead Patents PLLC, FIG. 1, and Lee & Hayes, PLLC, specializing in patent prosecution and intellectual property portfolio management. Tom's career began as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office and includes technical experience as a Programmer. Shrum holds a Doctorate of Jurisprudence in Intellectual Property from the University of Oregon School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Gonzaga University.
