Christian Bach

Christian Bach has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2006, they worked as a Research Assistant at CREATES, where they conducted analysis of high-frequency data and programmed in SAS, Excel(VBA), and Ox. From 2008 to 2011, they pursued a Ph.D. at Aarhus University and CREATES, focusing on their research. In 2011, Bach joined Danske Commodities as a Trader and Analyst, gradually progressing to the role of Senior Asset Trader and then Senior Originator. In 2015, they became the Director and Head of Short Term Portfolio Management. In 2016, they briefly worked as a Consultant at Nomadics ApS. In 2017, Bach co-founded the company InCommodities, where they hold the position of Co-Founder and CFO.

Christian Bach completed their bachelor's degree in Economics at Aarhus University from 2003 to 2006. Christian then pursued further education at Aarhus University from 2006 to 2008, earning a Cand. Oecon degree in Economics. In 2007, they also attended Harvard University and Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark for a brief period to study Economics, although they did not obtain any degree from these institutions during that time.
