Helle Lorensen has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent position as a Business Controller at InCommodities. Prior to that, they took a maternity leave from 2021 to 2022. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Project Leader at Food Innovation House, where they managed new business areas, prepared marketing materials, and facilitated consumer involvement in product development. In the same year, they also worked as a Process Consultant/Project Manager at TV2 ØSTJYLLAND, focusing on improving the working environment and developing strategic recommendations. Helle Lorensen gained experience as a Master Thesis Student at Arla Foods and as an Intern at Tulip Food Company, where they worked on sensory science and developed tools and guidelines for product development and management. In 2014, they worked as a Consultant at Dao Distribution, primarily focusing on business development and process optimization. In 2013, Helle Lorensen was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Mother Goose Venture Developers and interned at Arla Foods, where they participated in various projects related to marketing and innovation. Helle also volunteered at TEDx MerdekaSquare.

Helle Lorensen has a diverse education history. Helle started their education in 2004 by completing a Ski instruction level 1 certification from Salzburger Berufsschilehrer & Snowboardlehrer Verband. In 2006, they obtained a Higher Preparatory Examination from Vuc Aarhus.

In 2010, Helle enrolled in Business Academy Aarhus and completed an AP degree in Marketing Management in 2012. During their time at the academy, they studied Danish, Economics, and Marketing.

In 2012, Helle continued their studies at Business Academy Aarhus and earned a degree in Professionsbachelorer in Innovation, Intrapreneurship, and Entrepreneurship in 2014. Helle also obtained Prince2 Foundation and Prince2 Practitioner certifications from APMG-International during that year. Helle further enhanced their knowledge by attending the Summerschool Malaysia program at Multimedia University in 2013, where they studied Malaysian Business Culture.

Afterward, Helle pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Innovation Management at Aarhus University from 2015 to 2018. Their academic journey concluded in 2021 when they completed a program called Communication in Practice at Erhvervsakademi Aarhus | Business Academy Aarhus, specializing in Kommunikations- og mediestudier.
