Katrine Bondgaard

Katrine Bondgaard has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Katrine is currently working at InCommodities as the Head of Finance, a position they have held since June 2022. Before that, they worked as a Financial Manager at the same company from March 2018.

Prior to their time at InCommodities, Katrine worked at Danske Commodities from 2013 to 2018. During their tenure, they held multiple roles including Senior Business Controller, Business Controller, and Student Employee in Dispatching. In the latter role, they focused on the day-ahead market, handling trade schedules, balancing positions with external parties, and developing optimization tools using VBA macros.

Katrine also gained experience outside of the corporate world. Katrine worked as a Case Writer at Aarhus Case Competition from September 2014 to March 2015. Additionally, they served as an Activity Coordinator at Studenterlauget from February 2013 to February 2014, where they were responsible for concept development and organizing social and academic events.

Before that, Katrine worked at ProOffice as a Team Leader and Consultant. As a Team Leader, they were in charge of the daily business in the sales team and gained experience in job interviews and leadership tasks. As a Consultant in the ChemiControl department, they provided IT and sales support to professional customers, including updating IT systems and negotiating contracts.

Katrine also had involvement in mentoring and student-related activities. Katrine served as a Mentor at Aarhus School of Business and Social Sciences from September to December 2012. Additionally, they were an Instructor at Studenterlauget, introducing new students to campus and student life during the Introduction Week and Introduction Trip in 2011 and 2012.

Beyond their professional career, Katrine contributed as a Student Ambassador at Langkær Gymnasium & HF from September 2007 to June 2010. In this role, they gave presentations in public schools to inform students about high school opportunities, developing public speaking and rhetorical skills.

Katrine Bondgaard completed their education in a chronological order. Katrine first attended Langkær Gymnasium og HF from 2007 to 2010, where they earned their STX degree in Mathematics and social science. From 2010 to 2013, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business administration (HA almen) at Aarhus University. After that, they enrolled in Handelshøjskolen i Århus from 2013 to 2015, completing their Msc in Finance. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the GCMS - FinanceLab Trading Immersion Diploma from GCMS in August 2013. Katrine also earned three Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications: Outlook 2010 from Certiport in May 2012, Excel 2007 from Certiport in January 2012, and Excel 2010 from Certiport in October 2010.
