Olesia Verchenko is an accomplished academic and economist with extensive experience in higher education and research. From January 2005 to November 2021, Olesia served as Assistant Professor and Senior Economist at EERC/Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) and held the position of Academic Director and Vice President of Economics Education at Kyiv School of Economics during part of this time. Olesia has also contributed to the Kyiv Economic Institute as a Senior Researcher since 2009 and is currently a Quantitative Analyst at InCommodities since August 2024. Olesia's international teaching experience includes a Visiting Professor role at Aalborg University Business School from April 2022 to June 2024. Olesia holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, a Master's degree in Economics from Kyiv School of Economics, a Master's degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Lausanne, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Virginia.
