Dan Michelson

Dan Michelson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Dan is currently the Founder and CEO of InCommon since May 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at 7wireVentures starting in February 2023. Dan also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago starting in August 2021.

Before their current roles, Michelson held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Strata Decision Technology from May 2012 to May 2022. Dan also worked at Allscripts as the Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer from April 2000 to May 2012.

Prior to their tenure at Allscripts, Michelson worked at Baxter from November 1997 to April 2000 as a Group Marketing Manager and from August 1994 to November 1997 as a Regional Manager of Consulting. Dan started their career at Astra Zeneca as a Hospital Account Manager from October 1991 to August 1994.

Michelson's earliest work experience was as a Sales Executive at Lanier Worldwide from September 1990 to September 1991.

Dan Michelson earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, from 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued higher education and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from DePaul Driehaus College of Business during their enrollment from 2001 to 2003. Dan'sfocus of study during their MBA was in Marketing and Management.
