Mark Ness

Mark Ness has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mark began their career as a Graduate Trainee at Lowfield Distribution in 1987, where they later became a Warehouse Supervisor before leaving in 1989. From 1989 to 1992, they worked as a Shift Manager at Tibbett & Britten before transitioning to the role of Development Manager from 1993 to 1998. During their time at Tibbett & Britten, they were involved in various business development projects in the FMCG manufacturing sector. In 1998, Mark joined Kellogg's as the European Co-Manufacturing & Projects Manager until 2003. Mark then spent two years as the Key Account Director at DHL Exel Supply Chain, followed by five years as the Development Director, Continental Europe at Wincanton. From 2011 to 2013, they held the position of Vice-President Development, Transformational Solutions at DHL Supply Chain. Mark then joined GEODIS in 2014, where they served as the Global Industry Director FMCG and later as the Group Market Line Director - FMCG. Mark'sresponsibilities at GEODIS included strategy development, contract negotiation, and business expansion. Most recently, Mark joined Incora in 2017 as the Commercial Director.

Mark Ness attended Brechin High School from 1977 to 1983. Following their high school education, they enrolled in the University of Aberdeen from 1983 to 1987, where they completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Geography.
