Jonathan Hicks

Jonathan Hicks has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Jonathan started their career at Link Systems as a Computer Service Technician from 1997 to 1999. Jonathan then worked as an IT Technician at Phelps Dodge, where they supported desktop hardware, operating systems, and applications.

In 2000, Hicks joined Kemet Electronics as a Server Engineer, responsible for server administration and engineering. Jonathan stayed there until 2004, when they joined Microsoft as a Windows Server Engineer. After a few months, they transitioned to Foresight Consulting, where they worked as the Owner/Engineer until 2007.

From 2007 to 2008, Hicks was the IT Director at Byte Software. Jonathan managed the internal network infrastructure, help desk staff, and IT service offerings. Jonathan also played a key role in large-scale server consolidations and deployments.

Hicks then joined Lockheed Martin Aeronautics as a Computer Sys Analyst Sr. Jonathan was responsible for system administration and engineering of Windows server environments, VMWare deployment projects, and performance tuning.

In 2009, Hicks joined AMEC as a SharePoint Administrator, where they provided SharePoint administration for multiple farms and managed various environments.

Lastly, Hicks currently works at IncWorx Consulting as a Sr. SharePoint Consultant and Practice Director. Jonathan primarily works with enterprise and mid-level clients on SharePoint planning, design, and implementation. Jonathan assists clients in defining their technology roadmap to achieve their goals.

Overall, Hicks has extensive experience in SharePoint, Windows server administration, project management, and large-scale systems migrations.

Jonathan Hicks obtained the Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional SharePoint 2010 (MCITP) degree from Carolina Computer Training Center in 2012. Prior to that, they earned the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist SharePoint 2010 (MCTS) degree from the same institution in 2011. In addition, Hicks has various certifications from Microsoft, including MCSA: Windows Server 2012, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, MCITP: SharePoint Administrator 2010, MCTS: SharePoint 2010, Configuration, MCP: Microsoft Certified Professional, and MCSE: SharePoint. Another certification, the Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (SharePoint 2010), was obtained from Prometric, although the specific month and year are unknown.
