Beth Aherne is a seasoned professional in pharmacovigilance operations with over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Pharmacovigilance Operations at Incyte since June 2014, Beth has held various leadership positions, managing global operational teams and ensuring compliance with safety-related processes and regulations. Prior roles include Drug Safety Manager at ViroPharma and Adverse Event Specialist at Wyeth, where responsibilities encompassed collecting and processing adverse event reports, developing safety surveillance processes, and preparing regulatory submissions. Beth's career began in nursing at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, providing critical care to children. A graduate of Villanova University with a BSN in nursing, Beth possesses a robust background in both clinical and operational aspects of drug safety.
