Derek Hall

Derek Hall, MBA, serves as the Sr. Director of Clinical R&D QA at Incyte since May 2014, overseeing global audit support and GCP compliance for Clinical Operations and Development teams. In this role, Derek manages QA-GCP audits, inspections, and provides guidance to various departments within the Development Operations group. Prior to this, Derek held the position of Associate Director, Quality Assurance - GCP, managing clinical development programs and ensuring timely reporting and closure of audit findings. Derek's extensive experience includes a tenure at AstraZeneca from March 1998 to April 2014, where responsibilities included planning and conducting global compliance audits as Associate Director of Clinical and Pharmacovigilance Quality Assurance, as well as organizing internal clinical trial documentation as a Records Administrator. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Delaware and a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from Wilmington University.
