Laurance Smith

Laurance Smith serves as the Associate Director of Market Access Operations at Incyte since November 2021, where responsibilities include leading operational excellence initiatives and partnering with various teams to ensure access to Incyte's product portfolio. Previously, at AstraZeneca, Laurance held several roles including Associate Director of Reimbursement Programs in Oncology, overseeing reimbursement programs for seven oncology brands, and leading market access strategies for three brands across six regions. Laurance's career also includes experience as a District Sales Manager, Specialty Growth Trainer, and Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist, with a strong track record of awards for excellence in performance. Earlier experience at Merck as a Professional Sales Representative included earning multiple Awards of Excellence and the Rookie of the Year in 2003. Laurance holds an MBA in Marketing from Goldey-Beacom College and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
