Mark Richards

Mark Richards is an accomplished professional in the field of chemical and biomolecular engineering, currently serving as Principal Investigator at Incyte since June 2021, where responsibilities include the development of a late phase intensified process platform and optimization of media to reduce production costs. Prior to this, Mark served as a Senior Research Investigator at Incyte, leading upstream projects for biologics and contributing to multiple concurrent projects annually. Experience at Eisai US involved managing an Upstream Process Development Team for monoclonal antibody processes, while previous roles at Morphotek, Inc. and Cornell University focused on upstream operations and innovative device design for biomolecule separation. Mark holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Cornell University, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
