Michael Liang is a Senior Research Investigator at Incyte since July 2021, having previously held the position of Research Investigator. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from September 2016 to May 2021, where research focused on methods development in enantio- and diastereoselective carbon-carbon bond forming methodology under the guidance of Professor Simon Meek. Prior to that, Michael was an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Yale University from January 2014 to May 2016, working with Professor Timothy Newhouse on reaction optimization and natural product synthesis. Michael obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Yale University in 2016 and a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2021.
