Patrick Mayes

Patrick Mayes is an experienced biopharmaceutical executive with a robust background in biology and immuno-oncology. Currently serving as Group Vice President and Head of Biology at Incyte since October 2017, Patrick has also held roles including Vice President of Biotherapeutic Research and Executive Director of I-O Antibody Research. Prior to joining Incyte, Patrick worked at GSK from August 2010 to October 2017, where positions included Director and Early Development Leader within the Biology Immuno-Oncology DPU, as well as Manager and Head of Antibody Discovery. Patrick began the career in oncology R&D as an Investigator focused on cancer epitopes. Academically, Patrick holds a PhD in Pharmacological Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and a BS/BA in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Virginia Tech.
