Robert Kan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic sourcing and scientific research. Currently serving as a Senior Global Strategic Sourcing Manager at Incyte since July 2021, Robert previously held the role of Global Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager at Amgen from April 2015 to July 2021, managing over $200 million in annual spend and achieving significant savings. Prior to this, Robert worked at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense for over 15 years in various roles, including Principal Investigator and Program Adviser, where research focused on the effects of military chemical agents. Earlier experience includes positions as a Biology Instructor at Penn State University and Chief Histotechnologist at Histological Research Services. Robert holds a Ph.D. in Physiology from Penn State University, along with a Master's degree in Physiology and a Bachelor's degree in Premedicine, both also from Penn State University.
