Ron Williamson

Ron Williamson serves as the Executive Director of Clinical, Pharmacovigilance, and Preclinical QA at Incyte since November 2016, leading the global Preclinical and Clinical QA organization and overseeing compliance with regulatory standards. Previously, Ron held the position of Sr. Director QA - GCP at Incyte, focusing on clinical trial oversight and managing regulatory inspections. Prior experience includes 18 years at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals as Director of Clinical & Pharmacovigilance QA, where Ron ensured compliance with GCP regulations and led regulatory inspection teams. Earlier roles span from Sr. Research Auditor at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals to Sr. Clinical Research Associate at R.W. Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute, with a foundational career starting as a Clinical Documentation Specialist at ICI Pharmaceuticals Group. Ron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
