Soni Basi

Soni Basi, Ph.D., possesses extensive experience in global talent management and organizational development. As Director of Global Learning & Development at Merck from 2006 to 2010, Soni aligned cultural and leadership initiatives with strategic goals. In subsequent roles, including Global Chief People Officer at Edelman and Vice President of Global Learning & Talent Development at The Estée Lauder Companies, Soni led transformative HR functions in high-profile organizations, focusing on talent management and development. Soni served as Global Head of Talent at AIG during a significant transformation and as VP of Global Talent at Allergan, where remarkable changes were implemented in response to critical organizational challenges. Currently, Soni is the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Incyte and holds advisory roles at Rue Gilt Groupe and the Whitney Museum of American Art, alongside serving as Secretary of the Board for Jobs for America's Graduates. Educationally, Soni earned a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Bowling Green State University.
