They previously held senior positions at prominent companies such as Meta, Twitter, Intuit, and Airwallex, where they led finance teams supporting engineering, product development, and business operations. Earlier in their career, they served as Vice President at Macquarie Group, managing significant transaction values across various sectors. David also contributed to academia as a Board Member of the Industry Advisory Board at the University of Melbourne. They hold a Master of Finance with Distinction from INSEAD and are a Chartered Accountant.
