Mike Zhou

Mike Zhou has a diverse background in data science and analytics, with experience in various industries and positions. Mike currently holds the role of VP of Data at InDebted, an Australian digital debt collections agency. In this role, they manage a team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts to implement the company's data strategy. Prior to this, Mike served as the Head of Data at InDebted and as an External Data Science Consultant.

Before joining InDebted, Mike worked at Inferentics, a data science consultancy, where they held the position of Lead Data Science Consultant. Mike provided advice on data science and managed project teams to deliver client projects.

In 2017, Mike co-founded Culturally, an online marketplace for unique cultural experiences. However, they left the company to return to Australia for personal reasons.

Earlier in their career, Mike worked as a Business Development Manager at CaterSpot, an online catering marketplace, and held the position of Manager (Data Science) at PwC Singapore. Mike also worked as a Senior Associate (Data Science) at PwC Australia.

Mike Zhou has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics and Statistics from UNSW. Mike also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Actuarial Science from the same university. Additionally, they have obtained the Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries Australia (FIAA) and Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) qualifications from the Actuaries Institute.
