Chris Karcher is a Technical Fellow at Indeed, bringing over 20 years of software development experience as a full stack engineer with expertise in edge, frontend, backend, and data persistence technologies. Previously, Chris held roles as a Staff Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer at Vrbo, where notable contributions included enhancing A/B testing infrastructure and leading the migration of critical applications to AWS. Chris co-founded and serves as Lead Engineer at Tapigo, focusing on mobile applications for irrigation maintenance, and has also worked as a Distinguished Software Engineer at Care.com, where they significantly improved deployment speed for user enrollment processes. Chris earned a BS in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
