Garrett Lee

Garrett Lee is a seasoned software engineering manager currently at Indeed since September 2024, following a tenure that began in January 2015 as a senior software engineering manager. At Indeed, Garrett has made significant contributions to the Hiring Events product, a major initiative supporting high-volume hiring for enterprises, and has led the transformation of its backend architecture towards a Kafka-based microservices system. Previous roles included managing the Budget Recommendation Service, leveraging machine learning for predictive analysis, and contributing to the Hiring Insights analytics platform. Garrett's early career features internships at Indeed.com and a lead role in software development testing for the University of Washington’s IT department. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
