Jon Witte

Jon Witte is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in data analysis and mentoring within the data science industry. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Indeed since February 2018, Jon has progressed through multiple roles at the company, reflecting a strong expertise in data-driven decision-making. Prior experience includes a consulting role at Insight Data Science, where Jon interviewed candidates for the fellowship program and acted as a part-time technical advisor, mentoring fellows and providing insights on transitioning from academia to industry. Jon also developed a productized algorithm during a fellowship at Insight Data Science and has a solid research background, including a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and publications as a first author in leading academic journals.
