Joyce Yang

Joyce Yang, Ph.D., currently serves as Senior Manager of Data Science at Indeed.com since October 2022. Prior to this role, Joyce held positions at Wayfair from June 2018 to October 2022, advancing from Manager to Senior Manager of Data Science, and focused on managing the Data Science life-cycle and empowering operational decisions through machine learning. Earlier experience includes positions as a Senior Data Scientist at Wayfair, utilizing computer vision and NLP for product tagging automation, and as a Research Assistant at Northeastern University, where Joyce built statistical models for biological system predictions. Joyce also has a background in teaching, having served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Physics from Northeastern University, alongside a Master of Science in Physics from the same institution, a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Tongji University, and a non-degree course in Healthcare Innovation and Commercialization at Harvard Medical School.
