Uma Iyer

Uma Iyer has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Uma is currently working as a Manager of Marketing at Indegene since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at GSK Pharmaceuticals India where they held various roles including Manager of Customer Segmentation from February 2019 to September 2021, Product Manager from August 2016 to January 2019, Area Business Manager from December 2015 to July 2016, Trainee Area Business Manager from August 2015 to November 2015, Area Trainer in July 2015, and as a Management Trainee from July 2014 to June 2015. Uma also worked as a PMT Summer Intern at Bioplus Lifesciences in 2013 and completed a summer training program at Pharmax India Private Limited in 2010.

Uma Iyer completed their Secondary School Certificate at St.Xavier's High School in Bhandup, Mumbai from 1993 to 2005. Uma then pursued their Higher Secondary Certificate in Science, with a focus on PCMB, at SIES College in Sion, Mumbai from 2005 to 2007. Uma went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) from Dr. L.H. Hiranadani College of Pharmacy between 2007 and 2011. Uma furthered their education by earning an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management at NMIMS University from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Uma obtained a certification in The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google in August 2021.
