Mark Evans

Senior Director, Buyer Development at Index Exchange

Mark Evans has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Mark started their career in 2009 at Jemm Media Ltd, where they held positions such as Publisher Recruitment and Sales Executive. Mark then became a Business Development Manager and later an Account Director, focusing on advertising campaigns and networking. In 2011, they transitioned to the role of Sales Manager and remained with the company until 2013.

Moving on, Evans joined Northern and Shell in 2014 as an Audience Trading Manager, followed by becoming a Group Account Director and eventually the Head of Programmatic and Audience. During their tenure, they were responsible for programmatic advertising and audience-related projects.

Currently, Evans works at Index Exchange, where they began as the Director of Business Development in 2016. In this role, they played a key part in developing the company's technology and providing transparency in the digital advertising exchange. Mark was later promoted to Senior Director, Buyer Development, leading the sales team and working on programmatic demand solutions.

Overall, Mark Evans has gained valuable experience in sales, business development, and programmatic advertising throughout their career.

Mark Evans attended Yeovil College from 2006 to 2008, where they completed a Business Studies National Diploma. During the same period, they also obtained an A level in ICT from the same institution.
