Smitha Mandpe

Smitha Mandpe has over 18 years of experience in human resources and people management. Smitha is currently serving as the Senior Director of People at Index Exchange, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of People at Index Exchange from February 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining Index Exchange, Smitha worked as the Director of People Business Partner at CaaStle (Formerly Gwynnie Bee) from March 2017 to February 2021.

Smitha also gained experience as a Human Resource Business Partner at Equinix from January 2016 to March 2017, where they were responsible for the end-to-end HR and recruitment functions for the EPS Cloud team.

Prior to Equinix, Smitha served as a Senior Human Resource Business Partner at Nimbo (Acquired by Equinix, Inc) from January 2014 to January 2016. Smitha was responsible for the strategic development of the function and people management of the team.

From 2010 to 2014, Smitha worked as the Talent Management and Human Resources Lead at Ishi Systems Inc., an IT solutions provider based in the New York area.

Earlier in their career, they were a Manager of Staffing at Hewlett-Packard from September 2006 to March 2008, where they handled staffing activities for the R&D Hub for the Printers group and other business units.

Smitha started their career as an Associate in Human Resources at i-flex solutions, and they also worked as a Staffing Associate at Planman Consulting.

Throughout their career, Smitha has demonstrated expertise in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee development, talent management, and organizational integration.

Smitha Mandpe, PHR received their Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Mahatma Gandhi University in 2001. Smitha then pursued a Master's degree in Labor Law and Labor Welfare from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, which they completed in 2003. In the same time period, they also obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in PM & HRD from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
