Index Solutions is a South African quantitative investment firm pioneering the next frontier of fully automated, data-driven portfolio management.

Founded in 2013 by systems engineer and quant manager, Justin Solms, the firm combines classical statistical techniques with machine learning — engineered entirely in-house — to deliver disciplined, scalable investment solutions.

Our mission is simple: make world-class investment strategies accessible, affordable, and transparent for everyone. Today, Index Solutions serves thousands of portfolios and consistently outperforms traditional benchmarks through high-integrity automation and quantitative precision.

We operate in a nationally distributed, remote-first environment with a deep commitment to software excellence. Every component — from portfolio optimization to API integration — is built to be robust, testable, and adaptive, ensuring agility as markets and needs evolve.

Our culture blends engineering discipline with intellectual curiosity. We view software not merely as a tool, but as a strategic asset, a craft that enables innovation in finance. Our team actively explores new frontiers in AI, machine learning, and algorithmic decision making to empower both individuals and institutions to invest with confidence.

Index Solutions represents a bold vision for the future of finance, where smart automation and rigorous design deliver performance, resilience, and long-term value.
